Time On My Hands

Now that I am unemployed I have a plethora of time on my hands and have cleaned myself to complete boredom and reorganized my craft area....

and purged my fibers...

So now I have time to pursue what I truly love...sewing, knitting and spinning. I've also finally finished my mom's Cedar Leaf Shawlette; and

my Mother-in-law's quilt I made out of old furniture fabric samples...

I've decided to not only be a smarter consumer but to try and repurpose those things that would normally be thrown away. Tomorrow I'm going to take a trip to the Salvation Army to check out old shirts and dresses that can be repurposed into knitting bags and cinched purses. I'm also going to concentrate on using my stash rather than add to it (yeah I know I've said that before) Until tomorrow my fellow knitters, spinners and sewers!

Knit on!
